Food engineering degree in Hungary

The BSc in Food Engineering is an accredited bachelor degree program from the University of Debrecen in Hungary.

This BSc Program aims to train professionals who are able to operate, supervise and develop food processing technologies. The studies contain the physical, chemical and biological basics of engineering with special emphasis on food quality and safety related issues.

Students in the program benefit from a close cooperation with faculty and staff. As a student in the program, you will get a personal academic tutor to help guide you through your education, and the program also includes a 4-week field experience component.

Admission requirements

Applicants to the BSc in Food Engineering must meet the following requirements:

  • excellent  / good grades in high school from math, and chemistry/biology
  • high intermediate level of English proficiency (IELTS 5.5)

Applicants are also required to fill in an application form and attend an interview.
